Looking for Followers of My Blog

I am looking to add followers to my blog for Wedding Favors. If you have not already done so, please go to the blog and become a follower. The activity helps with the Search Engine crawling that is done by Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc. I am now doing some advertising with Google Adwords and Yahoo Marketing and it is definitely showing an increase in clicks on the site. The test of time

As my husband and I recently celebrated our 39th anniversary, I have spent some time reflecting on how that many years could have gone by already. We raised 3 children and now adore three wonderful grandchildren, and even hope to have more some day. Life is not always easy. I am sure that we all have had times in our marriage, where the frustrations surmounted, but we never thought of just throwing it all away. I hope that we can all take time and take a step back when the frustrations mount, and try to remember the things and reasons that brought us together in the first place.

I can remember taking a family vacation many years ago, and we stopped in a little town that someone had told my husband about, and I just wanted to eat our meal and keep moving. My husband said to me "We have to stop and smell the roses". I laughed at him and told him that I just wanted to get to our destination, and then I would relax. Now, so many years later, I wish I had "stopped to smell the roses." We all hurry through life and put so much pressure on ourselves to achieve our goals, that we really do miss some of the beautiful moments.

Take a deep breath sometime in your day and just reflect on how blessed we truly are.

Happy Anniversary to My Husband

I want to wish my husband "Happy Anniversary" on this our 39th. We have made so many wonderful memories together and have a beautiful family to celebrate on this day. I am not sure how 39 years could have gone by already, but it really did.

We went to dinner last night with Mark and Leslie Miller, who were celebrating 33 years yesterday. It was a great evening.
